As emerging containments, antibiotics resistance genes (ARGs) in urban rivers threaten ecological and public health. To gain insights into ARGs dissemination, ARG resistomes and their association in the riverine ecosystems, ARG profiles and microbial distribution characteristics in the Kanda river were investigated via metagenomic sequencing and 16S rRNA sequencing, respectively.
