The aim of the original publication source is to make available relevant information collected in reports, technical documents and publications on fishery surveys, assessment and explanatory fishing in the three decades (1960-1990) previous to the beginning of the REVIZEE Program in Brazil. This dataset (under construction) has mined records out of a list of 345 documents that were organized in two collections of 32 volumes, containing copies of survey reports, fishing data reports, unpublished documents and publications with the results of the surveys in which a total of 8,660 fishing operations, by 24 different fishing and research vessels were reported. The documents are available at the libraries of IO USP and FURG Department of Oceanography.
