HFSEKG

This record contains the data artifact accompanying the MSc thesis "HFSEKG: A Knowledge Graph-Based Ecosystem Analysis of Hugging Face for Software Engineering" (Lara Merdol, Eindhoven University of Technology, 2026). HFSEKG is a Neo4j property graph modeling the software engineering (SE) portion of the Hugging Face ecosystem. It covers 4,016 SE pre-trained models mapped to 70 SE tasks across the full software development life cycle, using the SEMODS taxonomy (González et al.) as its SE task layer. Beyond models, the graph captures the surrounding ecosystem: datasets, papers, Spaces, collections, benchmarks, users, and organizations, together with model lineage relationships (fine-tuning, quantization, adapters, merges) traced back to root ancestor models.
