An activating mutation of ALK, ALK R1275Q was idenftified in neuroblastoma. ALK R1275Q knock-in/MYCN transgenic mice developed invasive and metastatic neuroblastoma with complete penetrance, coupled with decreased extracellular matrix/basement membrane components.
