Knowledge, Attitudes, and Practices of Artificial Intelligence in Dentistry: A cross-sectional survey

This study evaluated Artificial Intelligence (AI)-related knowledge, attitudes, and practices among dental students through an online survey. Most participants were familiar with AI, but postgraduates showed notably higher awareness and better practices than undergraduates. While many students saw AI as useful in diagnosis and radiology, some feared it might replace dentists. Interest in learning AI was strong across groups. Education level and gender influenced responses significantly. Despite limited knowledge, students showed positive attitudes and eagerness to learn, highlighting the need to integrate AI into dental education.
