Reaumuria trigyna Transcriptome or Gene expression

Reaumuria trigyna is a xerophytic dicotyledonous plant specific to the eastern Alxa-western Ordos area of Inner Mongolia, China. The plant has a strong resistance to salinity and desert environment. We investigated Reaumuria trigyna seedlings grown under normal and salt-stress conditions by deep sequencing using Illumina/solexa HiSeq 2000 platform. 65340 non-redundant consensus sequences were generated. By gene functional annotation, 35495 unigenes were annotated with gene or protein name descriptions, putative conserved domains, gene ontology terms and metabolic pathways. The results of this study cover a major part of the transcriptome of R. trigyna Maxim, and can serve as public information to facilitate the discovery of new stress-resisting genes.
