Data and analysis code for temperature-dependent developmental progression and budding in Cassiopea andromeda

This repository contains the data and R code associated with the manuscript “Temperature-driven trade-offs between vegetative (budding) and generative (strobilation) investments by polyps of the mangrove jellyfish Cassiopea andromeda.” The experiment examined developmental progression and budding dynamics in C. andromeda polyps exposed to temperatures of 20, 24, and 28 °C. The repository includes the experimental dataset, the complete R analysis script, and a README file containing instructions for reproducing the analyses. Development to advanced strobilation stages 5 and 6 was analysed using a binomial generalized linear mixed-effects model. Budding counts were analysed using a negative-binomial generalized linear mixed-effects model. Grid identity was included as a random-intercept grouping variable.
