资源简介:
A previous study (Krishna & von Tenspolde, 2022) investigating the stability of spontaneous trait inferences after reinterpretation (Olcaysoy Okten et al., 2019) as a potential mechanism for reinstatement effects in conditioning after evaluative shifts (Kurdi et al., 2022) showed inconclusive results, possibly due to problems with the reliability of the measure for trait activation. A subsequent method-oriented study (Krishna & Häberle, 2023) made some improvements to the paradigm and established a four-block procedure for the iGASSP as most reliable, but also as costly in terms of duration. The three-block iGASSP produced the most promising results. The current study seeks to replicate the original study with the improved method identified by the follow-up study.
Note: the preregistered Inquisit file and preregistration document contained a typing error in the trait words ("idealist" should have been "idealistic"). This was corrected prior to data collection.
