资源简介:
This is the processed data for the manuscript “Bottiroli S, Cangelosi M, Allena M, De Icco R, Martinelli D, Vaghi G, Guaschino E, Ghiotto N, Sances G, Tassorelli C. Childhood Traumas Delineate a Distinct Psychological and Clinical Profile in Adults with Migraine: the Hidden Burden” to be submitted to Cephalalgia
Dataset refers to the evaluation of psychological and clinical correlates of childhood trauma (CT) in a sample of patients with episodic migraine (EM) and chronic migraine with medication overuse (CM+MO). Participants were classified based on the presence or absence of CT and underwent a comprehensive assessment including the Structured Clinical Interview for DSM-5 Clinician Version (SCID-5-CV) for personality, mood and anxiety disorders, as well as self-report questionnaires measuring alexithymic levels (TAS-20), life-event stressors, demographic and clinical history information (e.g., gender, migraine onset, medication intake). Descriptive results showed that CT was associated with a higher prevalence of Cluster B and Cluster C personality disorders, psychopathologies, anxiety, depression, alexhthymia, female gender, earlier onset of migraine and a higher monthly intake of acute migraine medication. Multivariate analyses identified Cluster C PDs (notably obsessive-compulsive PD), psychopathologies (notably anxiety disorders), stressful life events, difficulty identifying feelings (alexithymia), and female gender as significant predictors of CT.
