资源简介:
This metadata entry refers to measurements of oceanic carbon dioxide made by Michel Frankignoulle and oceanic ammonium made by Marc Elskens during the Belgica 9322A research cruise in the North-East Atlantic as part of the Joint Global Ocean Flux Study (JGOFS) and Ocean Margin EXchange (OMEX) programme. The cruise began on 21st September 1993 and ended on 29th September 1993 with a spatial coverage of +48N to +50N latitude and +7W to +13W longitude.
The data consists of:
-112 measurements of the partial pressure of carbon dioxide (pCO2) in the water column by computing from pH and alkalinity;
-112 measurements of the concentration of carbon (total inorganic) (TCO2) per unit volume of the water column (dissolved plus reactive particulate phase) by computed from pH and alkalinity; and
-89 measurements of the concentration of ammonium (NH4) per unit volume of the water column (dissolved plus reactive particulate phase) by manual colorimetric analysis
