Male C57BL/6 mice aged 8 weeks were used for the study. After acclimatization, the mice were fed with either a chow or the GAN diet ad libitum for up to 26 weeks. The GAN mice were randomly divided into three subgroups at the beginning of Week 20 to receive JHU-083 by orally, or its vehicle . JHU-083 was administrated at 0.3 mg/kg or 0.1 mg/kg every day over the last 6 weeks.
