Recovery of nationally threatened communities and species of the East Gippsland Plains, Forests and Alps

This sub-project will support the recovery of 5 nationally threatened vegetation communities and 18 nationally threatened species across 240,000 ha of the plains, forests and alpine areas of East Gippsland. The sub-project will focus on addressing threatening processes at landscape scales that will benefit these assets and will be integrated with related projects contributing to biodiversity maintenance and recovery across East Gippsland that will be funded through other avenues. The sub-project will be delivered by six primary partner organisations with the support of indigenous and community groups and landholders.
