Digital Archive from a Geophysical Survey and Archaeological Evaluation at Belle Hill, Devon, 2016 to 2017

This collection comprises images, site records, geophysics and GIS data from a geophysical survey and an archaeological evaluation that were carried out by South West Archaeology Ltd. on land at Belle Hill, Kingsbridge, South Hams, Devon between August 2016 and April 2017. The archaeological evaluation targeted the anomalies that were identified by a geophysical survey that was carried out in 2016. The archaeological evaluation largely validated the results of the geophysical survey. It confirmed the presence of a rectangular medieval enclosure and undated ditches that are probably associated with this enclosure or with a later phase of medieval or post medieval activity.
