Male Clock∆19/∆19 and WT C57Bl/6 mice were randomized into 3 groups: i) baseline, ii) short-term post-myocardial infarction (MI; 64h post-MI), iii) long-term post-MI (heart failure, HF; 8 weeks post-MI). Medial prefrontal cortex (mPFC) and hippocampus brain regions were collected at ZT19 (waketime). The microarray approach allows the investigation of transcriptome-wide gene expression changes in brain regions from Clock∆19/∆19 and WT mice at baseline, post-MI, and in HF. There are a total of 48 samples: i) 4 Clock∆19/∆19 HF mPFC , ii) 4 WT HF mPFC, iii) 4 Clock∆19/∆19 MI mPFC , iv) 4 WT MI mPFC, v) 4 Clock∆19/∆19 baseline mPFC , vi) 4 WT baseline mPFC, vii) 4 Clock∆19/∆19 HF hippocampus , viii) 4 WT HF hippocampus, ix) 4 Clock∆19/∆19 MI hippocampus , x) 4 WT MI hippocampus, xi) 4 Clock∆19/∆19 baseline hippocampus , xii) 4 WT baseline hippocampus. Animals were sacrificed at 7 hours into the dark phase (ZT19).
