Indiana General Assembly Senate Districts 2017-2019

This dataset shows the boundaries of Indiana Senate Districts for the 120th General Assembly. Attributes include name, party affiliation, and contact information for each elected legislator. This shapefile was derived by modification of a preexisting shapefile named REDISTRICTED_GENERAL_ASSEMBLY_SENATE_DISTRICTS.SHP. The redistricted boundaries were provided to the Indiana Geological Survey (IGS) by the Indiana Election Division (IED) in May, 2011. The redistricted boundaries are the new legislative boundaries for the Indiana Senate for 2011 through 2021. On January 3, 2017, Personnel of the IGS added the names of legislators for the 120th General Assembly to this dataset, using information obtained from the official web site of the Indiana General Assembly: https://iga.in.gov/本数据集展示了第120届印第安纳州议会参议院选区的边界范围。数据集包含每位当选参议员的姓名、党派归属及联系方式等属性信息。本形状文件（Shapefile）由名为REDISTRICTED_GENERAL_ASSEMBLY_SENATE_DISTRICTS.SHP的已有形状文件修改生成。2011年5月，印第安纳选举局（Indiana Election Division, IED）将重新划定后的选区边界提供给印第安纳地质调查局（Indiana Geological Survey, IGS）。此次重新划定的选区边界为2011年至2021年印第安纳州参议院的法定选区范围。2017年1月3日，印第安纳地质调查局（IGS）工作人员从印第安纳州议会官方网站https://iga.in.gov/ 获取相关信息后，为本数据集补充了第120届印第安纳州议会参议员的姓名信息。
