TROPICAL STORMS IN VIETNAM: DATASET FOR FORECASTING

Description: A dataset of environmental variables associated with tropical cyclone conditions, used as model input for forecasting tasks. Each file corresponds to a specific storm and forecast time step. Contents: Includes time-stamped atmospheric and oceanic variables relevant to tropical cyclone formation and intensification, stored in key–value format: Central pressure (hPa), Wind speed (m/s), Sea surface temperature (SST), Relative humidity (r), Air temperature (t), Zonal (u) and meridional (v) wind components, Geopotential height (z), Mean sea-level pressure (msl), One-hot encoded month vector (for seasonal context) Temporal Coverage: 1949–2024, matching the historical range of tropical cyclones over the South China Sea and Vietnam. Format:.csv files (key–value structure), compressed into .zip format.
