NRS-128 | Applications for registration of large stock brands

These files comprise applications to register a brand (including deceased owners' brands) and memoranda of transfers of stock brands. From 1946 to 1957 the applications are filed in the sequence of application numbers, the year denoting the issue of the registration certificate. From 1957, the forms are filed according to the month in which the registration certificate was issued, the application being in no particular sequence. There are also miscellaneous applications for the registration of large stock brands which appear to have been extracted from the main series for further action where the death of a proprietor of a registered brand or some other circumstance has resulted in the cancellation or transfer of a brand, an application for registration of a deceased owner's brand, the renewal or replacement of a certificate of registration, or a request for information on certain brands1946-66 (7/1903A-1960.2, 7/6807A-6812), 1967-68, 1971-74 (14/5592-621, 13/8855-60), 1975-77 ( 13/8861-75). 169 boxes.
