Evidence for Laboratory Contamination in DNA Sequences from Alleged Tridactyl Specimens from Nazca, Peru - supplementary materials
收藏资源简介:
Supplementary data for the study analyzing DNA sequences from alleged ancient "tridactyl" (three-fingered) specimens reportedly found in the Nazca region of Peru. This dataset contains all processed data required to reproduce the genetic analysis demonstrating that:1. The sequenced DNA is unambiguously modern human (Homo sapiens)2. No authentic ancient DNA damage patterns are present3. Laboratory contamination is the most likely source of the genetic signal CONTENTS: vcf/ - Variant call files (VCF format, gzipped) Aligned to human_g1k_v37 (hg19/GRCh37) using GATK UnifiedGenotyper. Includes ancient0002-0004 (NCBI SRA) and momia1,3,5,6 specimens. multiqc_reports.zip - Quality control reports MultiQC reports from nf-core/eager ancient DNA pipeline processing. Includes alignments to hg38 (nuclear) and rCRS (mitochondrial) reference genomes. Also includes Chachapoya control sample (NA50precapture, SRR1298755) for comparison. haplogroup_results/ - Haplogroup classifications - Mitochondrial DNA haplogroups from Haplogrep3 (PhyloTree Build 17) - Y-chromosome haplogroup from Yleaf v2 (ISOGG 2023) checksums.md5 - MD5 checksums for data integrity verification ORIGINAL SEQUENCE DATA:- ancient0002: NCBI SRA SRR21031366- ancient0003: NCBI SRA SRR20755928- ancient0004: NCBI SRA SRR20458000- NA50precapture (control): NCBI SRA SRR1298755 (BioProject PRJNA246597) REFERENCE PANEL:Allen Ancient DNA Resource (AADR) v62.0
