Stratigraphic columns were sampled for pollen at both 48SW6926 and
48SW6895 to provide an interpretation of the paleoenvironment. Occupation
of 48SW6926 probably ranged from approximately 1500 to 2200 BP. A single
radiocarbon age of 1790 BP is reported for 48SW6895. In addition feature
fills were sampled at both sites for pollen and macrofloral remains to
provide information concerning subsistence.
