The aim of this study was to understand microbial community dynamics of biogas process in accordance to structural, composition changes of substrate and starter inoculum, functional role of microbial communities and their relation to biogas process efficiency. Batches were set up with same substrate using different inoculum from digesters running on different substrate and different substrates with same inoculum source.
