Purpose: The goals of this study were to uncover the epithelial to mesenchymal transcription program under direct regulation by FOXQ1 and to characterize the KMT2/MLL histone methyl transferase complex as a transcriptional co-activator for the FOXQ1 EMT program. We compare the transcription program of human mammary luminal epithelial cells (HMLE) with stable overexpression of FOXQ1 to a vector control (HMLE/LACZ) by RNA-seq. We also preform ChIP-seq of FOXQ1 (V5-epitotpe tage), RbBP5 and H3K4me3 in HMLE/FOXQ1 cells to identify direct gene targets.
