Experiments conducted with a joystick.

This dataset encompasses 3 experiments (A,B,C), conducted with a joystick. Participants were healthy adults, recruited by advertisement or word of mouth. They were required to do a visual task on a computer monitor, while completing a concurrent manual task (with the joystick). They did 2 experiments, with 2 different visual stimuli (a Necker cube and a Lissajous sinusoidal pattern). They were randomly assigned to one of 2 condition groups, according to the training received (Compatible/Incompatible). Each participant went therefore through 4 different experimental sessions: 2 controls (for the 2 stimuli) and 2 testing phases (for the 2 stimuli, consisting of test blocks interleaved with training blocks). The underlying variable was the 2 key pressed responses (CIR1/CIR2) given by the participants at the end of each trial. The main data of interest of this dataset consists of the rate of "matching" responses, with each participant, for each session.
