资源简介:

Comprehensive flood risk dataset for Mombasa County, Kenya, produced under the World Bank Urban Flood Risk and Resilience Assessment (UFRA) programme. Covers inland and coastal flood hazard, land use exposure, and flood risk under both reference (no-intervention) and project (S01) scenarios at 2025 baseline and 2075 climate projection (SSP5-8.5). Hazard: Inland flood hazard maps (HEC-RAS 6.5 2D, 2 m resolution) provide flood depth, inundation duration, and flow velocity for eight return periods (1–500 years) in reference and project (S01) scenarios. Coastal flood hazard maps (SWAN → XBeach → 1D) provide flood water height for three return periods (1, 10, 100 years) in the reference scenario. Exposure: Land use and exposure layer (LANDUSE.shp, 292,615 parcels, EPSG:32737) with building asset values (structural and contents, KES) and population disaggregated to parcel level for 2025 and 2075 urban expansion projections. Risk: Average Annual Damage (AAD, KES) and Average Annual Number of people exposed (AAN) as 2 m rasters and parcel-level shapefiles. Tabular metrics aggregated to ward, sub-county, and watershed scales. County-wide 2025 totals: AAN ≈ 10,465 persons (ref), AAD ≈ KES 1.62 B (ref).
