资源简介:
This data set comprises measurements of indoor concentrations of ozone (O3), volatile organic compounds (VOCs), ultra-fine particles (UFPs) and carbon dioxide (CO2) collected in a multi-purpose room in an unoccupied aged care facility in Melbourne Australia. Ozone was also measured outdoors at the facility and meteorological parameters (temperature, humidity, pressure, windspeed and wind direction) were measured both indoors and outdoors. The test room was fitted with 2 types of Germicidal Ultra-Violet (GUV) devices (2 x upper room 254nm GUV devices, 2 x free standing 222nm GUV devices). Continuous sampling was undertaken from 23 September to the 27 July 2023, with ~11 days of baseline (no GUV operation) followed by 21 days of GUV cycling tests. The rooms heating, ventilation and air conditioning system was switched on during the week of baseline sampling and the first 2 weeks of GUV testing then switched off for the final week of GUV testing. In addition to tests with ‘natural’ room air, 15 gas release experiments were performed whereby a controlled release of a VOC mixture and CO2 (an unreactive tracer) were undertaken. The purpose of this study was to identify whether using GUV devices led to changes in indoor O3, VOC, and UFP concentrations.\nLineage: The measurements were collected and analysed by CSIRO.
