WRF domain and input files for aerosol preprocessing (LUCAS Phase 2)

This dataset provides the domain definition and template input files required for running WRF with aerosol inputs over Europe at 12 km resolution (LUCAS Phase 2).It includes the geo_em.d01.EUR-12-v4.1.nc (static geographical fields) and a template wrfinput_d01_201501 file used to transfer attributes to auxiliary input files (e.g., auxinput15 for aerosols). These files were prepared and used within LUCAS Phase 2 simulations to support land–atmosphere coupling experiments with WRF, serving as reference input for preprocessing GCM aerosol data with the provided scripts (https://github.com/NanaSantosPT/fps-lucas_priv/tree/main/pre-run_issues/aerosols) and facilitating reproducibility of experiments with prescribed aerosol forcing.
