Associations of Sleep with Gut Microbiome and Participant-Reported Outcomes in Patients with Colorectal Cancer and their Sleep-Partner Caregivers

This study explores gut microbiome feature associations between sleep and various psychoneurological symptoms (PNS) and colorectal cancer patient-caregiver dyads. Participants reported their PNS through the Participant-Reported Outcomes Measurement Information System (PROMIS), outlined their dietary intake through the Automated Self-Administered 24-hour Dietary Assessment Tool (ASA24), completed the Sleep Consensus Diary, and provided stool samples from which gut microbiome features were analyzed.
