资源简介:
Bacillus cereus biovar anthracis(Bcbva)is a pathogen found to cause anthrax-like disease in tropical rainforests in sub-Saharan Africa. It combines a B.cereus chromosomal background with the two B.anthracis plasmids pXO1 and pXO2. Here we sequenced 170 Bcbva isolates from Tai National park, Côte d'Ivoire and eight isolates from neighboring grebo, Liberia. Isolates originated in mammal carcasses (from nine different species), bones and flies. For seven carcasses and eight flies two to six isolates were sequenced to test within host diversity. Our sample set represents 126 independent Bcbva hosts (mammals or flies). Samples cover a period from 1996 to 2014.
