Met Office Global DCPP hindcast data from CMIP6

This product provides global climate hindcast data on the native grids of the HadGEM3-GC31-MM model. The atmospheric and land surface data is presented on an N216 lat-lon grid (432 x 324 longitude/latitudes, 0.833 x 0.556 degrees). The ocean and sea ice data is presented on the ORCA025 tripolar grid (primarily 0.25 degrees; 1440 x 1205 longitude/latitudes). The data consists of model output from the Hadley Centre Global Environment Model in the Global Coupled configuration 3.1 (HadGEM3-GC3.1), as part of the Decadal Climate Prediction Project dcppA-hindcast experiment within the sixth Coupled Model Intercomparison Project (CMIP6). The hindcasts (climate simulations initialised from historical data at a specified point in time) start in 1960 through to 2015.
