资源简介:

This repository contains the deidentified participant-level and curated trial-level datasets, crossover sequence and period mapping, figure-source data, complete R analysis code, software-environment information, and final statistical output supporting the study: “Effects of 30- and 90-Minute Afternoon Nap Opportunities on Field-Test Performance in Female Collegiate Basketball Players.” Eighteen female collegiate basketball players completed three experimental conditions in a randomized, fully counterbalanced, three-period within-participant crossover design. The conditions were no-nap seated wakefulness (N0), a 30-min scheduled afternoon nap opportunity (N30), and a 90-min scheduled afternoon nap opportunity (N90). Each of the six possible condition sequences was assigned to three participants. Experimental conditions were separated by at least 72 h and were completed during the same preseason training phase. The repository includes participant-level analysis data, curated trial-level records for countermovement jumps, three-quarter-court sprint, modified 505, and Lane Agility Test, trial validity and retention indicators, crossover sequence and period information, subjective visual analog scale data, protocol-deviation records, figure-source data, the complete R analysis script, software-environment information, and final statistical output. The primary statistical model was: outcome ~ condition + period + sequence + (1 | participant) Models were estimated using restricted maximum likelihood. Type III condition effects used Satterthwaite denominator degrees of freedom. The nine prespecified condition-effect tests were adjusted using the Benjamini–Hochberg false-discovery-rate procedure. Pairwise comparisons for FDR-robust outcomes used Holm adjustment. N30 and N90 represent scheduled nap opportunities. Actual sleep onset, sleep duration, sleep efficiency, and sleep stage were not objectively verified. Participants reported whether they believed they had slept, but subjective sleep duration was not recorded. The repository includes final retained 30-15 Intermittent Fitness Test velocities but does not include complete stage-level 30-15IFT source records. Native Swift and Microgate Optojump device-export files are not included. The trial-level dataset is a curated research record derived from the corrected study workbook and is not a native device-export dataset. No missing trial-level values were estimated, simulated, interpolated, or back-calculated. Names, student numbers, phone numbers, exact birth dates, exact test dates, team numbers, and directly identifying narrative notes are not included. Participants are represented by study-specific codes P01–P18.
