Dataset on the evolution of mosquito-borne diseases in Latin America and the Caribbean 2015-2024. Includes data on Dengue, Zika, Chikungunya, and Malaria by country (Brazil, Colombia, Mexico, Peru, Argentina, Venezuela and others), with reported cases, deaths, and incidence per 100,000 inhabitants. Sources: PAHO, WHO, national health ministries. Covers major epidemic events including the 2024 Brazil dengue mega-outbreak (10M+ cases), the 2016 Zika virus epidemic linked to microcephaly, and the explosive rise of dengue in Argentina and Peru. Data compiled via Perplexity AI, February 2026.
