资源简介:
The situation of stigma and discrimination in the lives of transgender women in Pattaya is strongly linked to their vulnerability to HIV. Previous studies conducted by PSI have indicated multiple sex partners and inconsistent condom use during sex among transgender women. There is a high prevalence of HIV risk behavior and it is suspected that HIV rates are higher among transgender women than among the more general MSM population in Thailand. The purpose of the Tracking Results Continuously (TRaC) survey among Transgenders (TG) is to provide evidence for monitoring and implementation of PSI/Thailand's HIV prevention program. Information from this study will be used to develop behavior change communication interventions for HIV prevention including branding, key messages, and/or campaigns for condom use, lubricant use, HCT and STI testing.
