Range anxiety remained a deterrent to the use of battery-electric vehicles by consumers in the United Kingdom as of October 2023. Over half of survey respondents mentioned this factor as their biggest concern regarding these vehicles, followed closely by the cost or price premium. Access to charging infrastructure, while high on the list of concerns, did not reach the top three consumer apprehensions.
