Transcriptomic analysis of early IFALD in preterm piglets receiving parenteral nutrition

Preterm Yorkshire piglets were provided parenteral nutrition for 14 days and developed cholestasis and histologic liver injury. Bottle-fed age-matched controls were provided sow milk replacer every 2-3 hours for 14 days. RNA-Seq was performed on liver tissue obtained at sacrifice on day of life 15 from all treatment (parenteral nutrition) and control animals (sow milk replacer).
