The molecular and cellular mechanisms of skeletal muscle from peripheral artery disease (PAD) patients are not completely understood. We used single cell RNA sequencing (scRNA-seq) to characterize the skeletal muscle diversity between control and PAD patients. Overall design: Live mononuclear cells (Calcein+) from human skeletal muscle were isolated by Fluorescence-activated cell sorting (FACS) and analyzed using scRNAseq.
