This dataset contains a georeferenced inventory of samples of benthic organisms collected during the Falkor (too) research cruise (FKT250812). Samples were acquired using the ROV SuBastian. These materials are curated and deposited at the Museo Nacional de Historia Natural, Montevideo, Uruguay. Each record includes taxonomic information (phylum and class), specimen catalog numbers, sampling event identifiers, geographic coordinates, and sampling dates. The data is organized into three worksheets totaling 2,626 records. Worksheet 1 (MNHNM-Inv): Contains 1,031 records of benthic specimens deposited at the Invertebrate Collection. Includes preliminary taxonomic classification (Phylum, Class) and full sampling metadata (Dive ID, coordinates, date, and record basis). Worksheet 2 (MNHNM-Ma): Contains 1,031 records of benthic specimens deposited at the Malacology Collection. Similar to the first sheet, it provides taxonomic and geospatial metadata for mollusks and related taxa. Worksheet 3 (MNHNM-Ma-Inv): Contains 564 records of bulk, unsorted benthic samples. These represent "in-process" material currently stored at the MNHNM but not yet formally cataloged or taxonomically classified. All records are standardized with 9 to 11 header fields, including Museum Acronym, Catalog Number, and Geographic Coordinates, ensuring full traceability between the sampling event and the physical specimen.
