Micromechanical Simulation Dataset of Single-Crystal Gold under Multiaxial Loading Using Crystal Plasticity FEM

The dataset consists of 295 CPFE simulations of dense single-crystal Au under multiaxial loading. The prescribed stress-loading directions were defined in six-dimensional Voigt stress space. The finite element model consists of a periodic cubic RVE with a side length of 0.19 mm and 8 finite elements. All elements were assigned the same crystallographic orientation, corresponding to the [100] direction in the laboratory frame and described by the Bunge Euler angle (0,0,0). The elastic and plastic material parameters of the phenomenological crystal-plasticity constitutive model used to generate the dataset are provided. An overview plot of the homogenized equivalent stress-equivalent plastic strain responses is also provided to illustrate the mechanical response of all 295 loading cases. The provided JSON file provides a machine-readable description of the dataset based on the MiMeDat schema. Each simulation entry represents an individual FAIR digital object, including the input configuration, material model information, loading direction, simulation environment, and the simulation results, including stress, total strain, and plastic strain in tensor form.
