Percentage remaining for different classes of saturated hydrocarbons eluting in the n-C22-n-C29 elution range, for biodegraded oil residues from the Deepwater Horizon disaster

The file contains the percentage remaining for five different classes of saturated hydrocarbons (normal alkanes, cycloalkanes, methylalkanes, acyclic isoprenoids, and cyclic isoprenoids), for eight different samples collected on beaches in the impacted region 12-19 months after the beginning of the Deepwater Horizon disaster. These percentages remaining were quantified using the procedure described in Gros et al., "Resolving biodegradation patterns of persistent saturated hydrocarbons in weathered oil samples from the Deepwater Horizon disaster", Environ. Sci. Technol., 2014. The value of the saturate biodegradation index is also provided. These data were used to draw Figure 5 in the article cited above.
