These volumes contain copies of letters sent by the Collector of Internal Revenue (Revenue Branch after 1836) dealing with all matters administered by the Collector except land matters. Letters are addressed to the Colonial Secretary, most Public Officers, and to individuals. The office of Collector of Internal Revenue was instituted in April 1827.
