VCF file containing SNP information for Fagus sylvatica samples. Leaf samples of Fagus sylvatica were sent to IGA Technology Services (IGATech, Udine, Italy) for DNA extraction and genotyping. Single Primer Enrichment Technology (SPET), a targeted genotyping approach for single nucleotide polymorphisms (SNPs), was used with a species-specific panel developed for F. sylvatica. Sequencing reads were aligned to the F. sylvatica reference genome (Bhaga; Mishra et al., 2018) and SNPs were identified using freebayes v1.3.10.
