Pseudomonas aeruginosa biofilms have a great ecological significance in the biochemical processes such as nutrient cycling, bioremediation, and degradation of xenobiotics. However, nosocomial infections due to multi-drug resistant P.aeruginosa biofilms are being reported all over the world. The aim of this study was to explore the effects of silver nanoparticles (SNP) as well as Ag ions on the pre-formed biofilms P.aeruginosa. In this study, we studied the effect of SNP and Ag+ on the pre-formed biofilms of P.aeruginosa using RNA sequencing (RNA-Seq) after 6 h treatment.
