Influence of sip4Δ and cat8Δ mutations on transcript abundances of selected orthologous genes.

The relative quantification of each transcript was calculated by the 2ΔΔCt method normalized to HEM2 as an internal control of gene expression. Values in percent relative to the wild-type are the average of three biological samples, each one quantified in triplicates. The standard deviation (SD) is shown in parenthesis. Statistical significance was measured using a one-way analysis of variance (ANOVA) and Tukey's post-hoc test to determine the difference between all pairwise comparisons.
