Dataset and analysis materials: Heritage language maintenance in a diglossic immigration context – Bosnian-Croatian-Serbian vitality across two generations in German-speaking Switzerland

This dataset accompanies the article Heritage language maintenance in a diglossic immigration context: Bosnian-Croatian-Serbian vitality across two generations in German-speaking Switzerland (Karl, K.B., under review). The dataset contains self-report survey data from N = 96 Bosnian-Croatian-Serbian (BCS) speakers permanently residing in German-speaking Switzerland, collected in autumn 2024 via soscisurvey.de. The survey instrument (Karl 2025, DOI: 10.5281/zenodo.14928642) was designed to capture language competence, language use across domains, language attitudes, and intergenerational transmission across two generations.
