Stormwater Inlets

An inlet is a device that admits surface waters to the storm water drainage system. Catchbasins are also considered inlets, however because of their unique structure the location and attributers are captured in the Catchbasin dataset. This inlet dataset contains inlets from a SWM Pond into the storm water collection system, or "inlets" into culverts to help decipher flow directions from the "inlet" at the upstream end of the culverts to the outlet at the downstream end of the culvert. Please be advised that these records are based upon available information, compiled from a variety of sources, some of which has not been verified. This is not a plan of survey, field verification is recommended.
