Soil Data from Small Watersheds in the Black Soil Region of Northeast China

This study selected two small watersheds with similar topographic and climatic conditions but differing in the implementation of conservation measures for sloping farmland. Using a 400-meter × 400-meter grid scheme, surface soil samples (0–20 cm) were collected from both watersheds to measure soil organic carbon.
