Food-Farm Environment Metagenome

This bioproject spans multiple research efforts within the FDA foods program (FDA-CFSAN, FDA-ORA, and FDA-CVM) whose main focus is the characterization of metagenomes originating from the farm food production setting. These efforts include characterizing food and environment microbiomes, antimicrobial resistance in foods, and identifying human as well as plant pathogens in this setting and their transmission across the farm to fork continuum.
