资源简介:

Here we present the catalog of Quaia-VLASS quasar cross-matches (optical and radio, respectively) accompanying the publication "Radio-loudness Statistics of Quasars from Quaia-VLASS", Arsenov et. al 2025, ApJS, https://doi.org/10.3847/1538-4365/adf056 The catalog covers the full sky above -40 degrees in declination and contains 43,650 quasar candidates, that have matches in the radio. With this number and coverage it is one of the largest catalogs (if not the largest) of quasars detected in the optical and radio to date (July 2025). The image further down on this page shows the contents of the catalog. The files presented here are: cross_match_cat__Quaia_VLASS.csv: the catalog of cross-matches, containing 21 columns of sources' properties. The same dataset, but saved as .txt and with a descriptive header, is also available at the ApJS webpage to the publication of this work: https://doi.org/10.3847/1538-4365/adf056 Radioloudness_paper_notebook_revision3_17_06_2025.ipynb: a Jupyter notebook in python language, that allows the user to reproduce our results, cross-matched catalog and the plots in the Arsenov et al. 2025 paper. For that, it is necessary to use the proper optical and radio input files - quaia_G20.5.fits from Storey-Fisher et al. 2023 (https://zenodo.org/records/10403370) and CIRADA_VLASS2QLv2_table1_components.csv (https://cirada.ca/vlasscatalogueql0, under "Component Table" for "Quick Look epoch 2 catalog of the entire sky") radioloudness_paper_notebook_revision3_17_06_2025.py: Same as the Jupyter notebook, but saved as a .py file If you encounter difficulties using the python code or the catalog, feel free to contact the first author at n e s t o r a r s e n o v _AT__ gmail --D O T- com
