The dataset is presented in tabular form, with each record representing a member of parliament and containing information in 14 columns, such as ID, name, gender, email, political party, region, etc. The dataset was published by Code for Africa and curated into ML-ready Parquet format by Electric Sheep Africa. It contains a total of 430 rows, split into a training set of 344 rows and a test set of 86 rows. The data was last updated on OpenAfrica on 2023-11-30, with a geographic scope covering multiple countries in Africa.
