Historical information about NSW government schools (1848-2019)

These datasets contain information about current and former government schools in NSW since 1848. \r\n\r\n**Data notes:**\r\n\r\n* Schools that operated as various types of schools have multiple entries.\r\n\r\n* Schools with more than one name are listed under the most recent name of the school. \r\n\r\n* The name of each school starts with the main part of their name. Words like The, or Upper, or North are treated as subsidiary.\r\n\r\n* Schools with the same name are distinguished by numbers.
