PEDAGOGICAL AND PSYCHOLOGICAL PERSPECTIVES REFLECTED IN UZBEK FOLK PROVERBS ON EDUCATION AND UPBRINGING

Abstract: This article examines the educational and moral concepts preserved within Uzbek folk proverbs, which constitute an important component of the nation's oral cultural heritage. Through the analysis of selected proverbs, the study explores their meanings, historical roots, and educational significance. Particular attention is given to the parallels between the wisdom embedded in these traditional sayings and the principles advanced by scholars in pedagogy and psychology. The findings demonstrate that many Uzbek proverbs contain ideas that correspond to contemporary theories of child development, learning, socialization, and moral education.
