Provided is an electric power tool whereby a distal-end tool can easily be attached without performing an operation for fixing an output part. Provided is an electric power tool having: a motor 4; a rotary shaft 41 rotated by the motor 4， the rotary shaft 41 extending in a left-right direction; an output part 61 to/from which a blade P can be attached/detached， the output part 61 being rotated by transmission of rotary force of the rotary shaft 41 thereto; and a one-way clutch 8 for regulating rotation of the rotary shaft 41 so that only forward rotation can be transmitted thereto， the one-way clutch 8 being positioned on a right end of the rotary shaft 41 in the left-right direction.
